At Weband, we believe that sustainable progress begins with knowledge, inspiration, and support for the youth. That’s why this year, we stand behind FISSION 2025 – a unique international scientific festival, organized by students for students, taking place on April 25-26, 2025, at the American College in Sofia.
What is FISSION?
FISSION (Fair of International Student Science for Implementable Original Notions) is the only international STEM festival in Bulgaria, organized by students for students. 🧫 🧬 ⚗️ The event aims to encourage young people to take knowledge outside the classroom, challenge their creativity, and explore the practical applications of theoretical science. Additionally, the festival brings together students from various countries and scientific interests, creating a community of ambitious young scientists.
The event gathers young talents in six categories: Biomedical, Biological, and Chemical Sciences, Computer Science, Mathematics, Ecology and Environmental Science, Physical Sciences and Engineering, and a Youth Category.
Participants can present experiments or working models, with each project evaluated on creativity, practical value, and originality. Presentations are in English and include a lab report or model description. Extra credits are awarded for innovations and social impact. This is a great opportunity for students to showcase their scientific achievements and compete on an international level.
