This past weekend, Weband had the pleasure of being part of the first edition of DigiHack, organized by the New Bulgarian University – an event that gave a stage to young talents with ideas, ambition and passion for technology, UI/UX design and innovation.
As a digital web agency that believes in the future of young people and the power of innovation, Weband actively supported the hackathon, providing thematic merch for all participants, as well as special prizes for the winners. 🙌🏼 Participants left with branded folders, pens and gifts, and the first place team also received personalized t-shirts, especially for the event.✨
Our CEO - Daniel Lydianov was part of the DigiHack jury – a true honor and opportunity to observe how in less than 48 hours students, united in newly formed teams, create working and innovative projects. The competition was fierce, and the atmosphere – dynamic, charged with energy and a desire for growth.
🏆 This year's winners were the team “The Squad” with the project “UmnikUM” – an interactive web application for learning through flashcards. The platform uses an algorithm that adapts the content to the user's success rate – the more difficult you are, the more often you will see similar questions. The developers are already thinking about a paid version that gives you the opportunity for more personalized flashcards, explanations for the cards you are not sure about – an idea that certainly has potential!
For us, DigiHack was another reminder that the talent is here in Bulgaria, and that our role as a business is not only to look for it, but also to encourage it.
