Online Programming Course - When Does It Make Sense.

Daniel Lidiyanov has graduated from Software University and several online courses and at 21 is one of the co-founders of a web agency that develops websites and online applications - Weband. He emphasizes the benefits of online training - "I had to study online because I was working and it was physically impossible for me to attend the classes."

He also recommends Udemy, Skillwise, and Lynda as places with good programming and web development courses, and from the Bulgarian ones - tutorials.bg. Daniel has paid many courses, including more than 600 BGN for full-year access at Lynda, acknowledging that this is "not a little money", but he is pleased with the investment in his education. However, there is also a negative experience: "In our field, the market is saturated with so-called 'online tutorials' and, unfortunately, a small number of them are from quality and established sources."

Daniel Lidiyanov's opinion is that Bulgaria is not poor on developers, but poor on really high-quality ones. He reminds us that salaries from 2-3 thousand BGN are not money for a newcomer in the field. Finally, he notes that overtime working is extremely high, and according to him "more than 60% of workers complain of mental fatigue, and many would prefer living outside Sofia ". So before you jump into learning Java Script to buy a new car, think about whether programming is really for you.
